Digital Nomadism Is Not a Choice Between Home and Permanent Travel
Razavi rejects the binary choice between being a settled person and travelling constantly. Nomads can retain one home base, maintain several recurring bases or travel only part of the year, designing the balance around their own needs.
- Some nomads have no permanent home
- Others divide time among several recurring bases
- Properties can sometimes be rented while unused
- The right balance is personal rather than ideological
“a lot of people feel like they have to either be a digital nomad or not a digital nomad, like a nomad or a settler.”
“Whereas I think it's much more mixed than that, you kind of find the right balance for you.”
