There is no such thing as a writing habit
The guest pushes back on turning everything into a habit. A habit is by definition a behaviour done with little or no conscious thought, and writing, or breaking a personal record in the gym, cannot be done without conscious effort. Calling them habits is a misnomer that lets people believe they can habit away work that will always require deliberate effort, and it is precisely that effortful work people get distracted from.
